About me

Hello, my name is Esther, we came from The Netherlands to France in 2019 in the Charente, near Ruffec. I had setup a business to start with in France. It is called Brandiff branches différentes.

In the Netherlands, I was a primary school teacher for 9 years and I also worked in pré-school for many years. So I have a lot of experience with children. With my company Brandiff I wanted to start creative workshops with children. But unfortunately I never had the space and of course we came to France a few months before the Covid epidemic. So I had to wait with those plans.

During the Covid time I have worked as an Immobilier. That was a good experience and of course good for my vocabulary. Which of course resulted in knowing a lot of words concerning a house. 😀 But also good for practicing my French with my clients. The Immobilier work is a hard job so I decided to do something I like better.

Starting the Brocante

With a group of 6 people we started a Brocante in Tusson. I love Brocante, when we went on holiday as a child we always visited Brocantes in France with my parents. It was a great experience.
So when we moved to the Limousine it was clear to me, I wanted to set up a Brocante in Bellac. So I did and I opened my Brocante Brandiff on the 12th of July 2022 in Bellac. I sell presents and Brocante.
I also do depot vente. That means you put the things, you want to sell, in my shop and I take a percentage from that. Or when you just want to sell things but don’t want to deal with the Internet I can buy them from you if I think it is something I can sell. Donations are also welcome. Like clothing. Just pop in or send me an email.

With my experience with children from 0-12 years old, I can also take care of your children for a few hours or a full day. Just let me know when you’re interested and we can make an appointment for a meeting.
